Operating Petin is a breeze. The device can be placed in any house entrance, garage, or basement. An automatic entry door opens to let your dog in, and once your dog is in the correct position, the door closes automatically. Sprays, side brushes, and bottom brushes perform specific functions, such as applying soap or rinsing, with each pass, while the bristles wash away the dirt. The final step in the automated process is the dryer, ensuring your dog's paws are clean and dry.

The Petin project began in September 2018 and was completed in February 2019 in the USA. The design team, led by Shadi Taktaz and Mohsen Jafarimalek, faced challenges in creating a design that would be functional, robust, and comfortable for dogs and humans to use. They conducted extensive research to ensure the device's effectiveness and ease of use.

Petin has received recognition for its outstanding design. It was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Pet Care, Toys, Supplies, and Products for Animals category in 2019.
